One I checked in there was no light and it was told that generators will be on standby in the night. We were also told that Islamabad is quite better in terms of load shedding. But it turned out its the same as in Karachi, but a little better. It goes out every two hours for around half an hour.
Anyway, in the hotel we were shifted to three different rooms in a span of one hour. One has the malfunctioning AC, the other had broken toilet and no ventilation. :s The room I'm finally in is okay but not as it seemed when the payment was made. The air condition works but also water drips from it constantly, the phone doesn't work and the TV has just one great channel and that is PTV! It only better to sleep here than to do anything else.
For the hotel, i think it could be a lot better place in this amount. My rating for it would be below average.
The weather here is okay, bearable. Compared to Karachi it is a lot better to bear because the traffic is very low. Its 1st may the labor day so its way too less traffic on the road.
I'm planing to get out to explore Islamabad in a bit lets see how it goes! Good luck to me!
